An image sometimes truly says more than 1000 words
its so sad and also so gentle- question for me is who of the two has been abandoned there. is it just that old robot who has been leashed there (look at all those wires) or is it the girl (for any reason she seems to be alone there too)
why am I here? maybe BECAUSE I CARE while others don't... maybe because I prefer to be courious about everything instead of feeling scared of the unknown... and I like to bring love, peace and beauty where there is only pain and sorrow...
i think this is a wonderfull drawing ^^ i like the "chaos" in the background and the siluetts in the front but idk, it seams like the "robots?" hand is a little bit weard..?other that that i rly love it ^^ makes me start to think about what happened there.
(sorry for all spelling mistakes... my english is a bit rusty ><)
There is lots of good art her on dA, many hard working artists, wonderful pieces with great little ideas. And once in a while you can find a masterpiece. This is one of those rare occasions.
The simple beauty of the silhouette agianst the vast decaying cityscape, the sheer black aginst the rotten, bleak tones in the background, the amazingly well placed details like the birds in the sky or the debris hanging from the houses.
And of course the thousand stories it tells by so few things. The pose of both the bold little girls upright directed gaze and her straight forwardness in making a friend. And the calm, cautious body pose of the "stranger" with its tender outrech for the flower and the ducked shoulders.
This is huge, man! You rock hard!!! Keep up the good work!
